Poonhill/Ghorepani
One of the best veiw point in the world with veiw of Annapurna 8,091m, Dhaulagiri 8,127, Annapurna South 7,219 Meter, Machapuchare 6,993 Meter, Hinchuli, Annapurna III, Dhampus peak, Dhulagiri II, and many other tall peaks can be seen from here. Poon Hill is located 270 km west from Kathmandu (capital of Nepal)
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Itenary
Welcome to the land of pure mysticism and spirituality. Our representative will greet and warmly receive you and support you with the transportation to transfer you to your respective hotels.
An early bus ride to Pokhara. Evening walk around Lakeside for shopping and final preparation
An hour's drive to Nayapul from where the trekking starts. Go past Birethati and ascend to Hille, and finally to Tikhedhunga.
Ascend further, crossing a beautiful suspension bridge. You will come across several staircases at the Ulleri and after crossing some terraced fields reach Ghorepani which is the nearest accomodation available near poonhill.
An early hike towards Poon Hill which is a 1hour stairs climb to the top of the hill which has breathtaking veiw. Descend to Ghorepani and head towards Tadapani.
Further, descend to Ghandruk. Watch the beautiful Himalayas and explore the Gurung community, their culture, and lifestyle.
It’s a 4-hour ride back to Pokhara. Explore the city's cultures and walk around the beautiful lake, Phewa Lake. Overnight at a hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu through Prithvi Highway
